With over 15 years in PR, I am all about giving small businesses and female entrepreneurs access to comprehensive PR training, bespoke strategic guidance and supportive coaching.
I’ve been called many things on my PR entrepreneurial journey… Mighty Minett, PR Yoda, PR Wizard, The Boss… You can call me whatever you want, but my mission is crystal clear; to empower you to take control of your visibility, create PR success on your terms and grow your business.
Since ‘falling into’ PR after graduating from Oxford Brookes with a BA in History of Art, I have grafted to learn all there is of the ins and outs of PR. I trained with the PR Academy. I worked in agency. I worked in house. I worked in content creation and SEO. I honed my craft when it came to pitching, client liaison, strategy creation, media relations, events management and working with influencers/celebrities. I spent 6 years building and running my own PR agency and experienced the rollercoaster that came with this from HR and people management to the pressures of scaling a service business.
I have had my share of wobbles along the way, when my mental health has given me bumps in the road from prolonged PND to periods of depression and anxiety; but working for myself has always given me the freedom to navigate these periods and having these experiences in life allows me to approach my work with empathy and openness. Beginning to understand my own neurodivergence through my entrepreneurial journey has also shifted the way that I work and the perspective I can bring to clients.
I embrace the creativity that my brain offers in abundance and this enables me to see and communicate insight, ideas and inspiration to clients and students in a way that has been proven many times to be priceless and game changing for them and their businesses.
Abundant PR expertise and knowledge, combined with an open, authentic and intensely creative way of seeing the world and connecting with people makes me the award winning PR Coach that I am.
Since 2017, I have been sharing my unique blend of PR magic via Boss Your PR, which in itself has been on a journey of evolution. Starting with local workshops, a lot of networking and building my community on instagram, Boss Your PR has grown to give me a career I would never have conceived of.
I have been named as a Top PR Adviser by Enterprise Nation and won numerous awards and accolades in the past 6 years.
I have created a PR course with global education platform Domestika which has been competed by over 1000 people across the world.
I have regularly spoken on the stages of some of my favourite trade shows including Top Drawer, MODA and the January Furniture Show.
I am regularly back at Oxford Brookes University as an alum to mentor the next generation of entrepreneurial talent.
I have media trained content creators, influencers and presenting talent for BBC Studios and TikTok.
I have spoken at events, hosted webinars and collaborated with the likes of Small Business Saturday, Greene King, American Express, Honeybook, Enterprise Nation and more.
My career has taken me to the House of Lords and Number 10 Downing Street as a representative for the thriving community of female entrepreneurs in the UK.
From tiny acorns and local networking grows a thriving business through which I deliver strategic PR coaching to 1-1 clients, host a unique, hybrid group programme offering both training and coaching and can bring to life a soon to be launched mastermind. This core offering works alongside my super accessible, self-paced Domestika course, my PR Spotlight Podcast and the many workshops and webinars I host via my own platform and on behalf of collaborators.
