The PR Spotlight Podcast is a Runner Up!

I am absolutely chuffed to bits to have been named Runner Up in the Best Marketing Podcast category at the Podcasting for Business Awards last week.

My podcast was in its relative infancy when I applied with my first interview episode with Louise Goss, the Founder & Editor of The Homeworker. It was an absolute delight to take time to speak with Louise for this episode of the podcast. I’ve had the pleasure of writing for The Homeworker and am a BIG fan of the magazine and am constantly in awe of what Louise is achieving with it. We talked through the composition and logistics of the magazine, how to approach her with a pitch, what she wants to hear in a pitch and also about looking at approaching the media with creativity and value. We also talked about various working from home issues from switching off at the end of the day, creating boundaries, staying motivated and maximising productivity.
